IIWCC-CAN Registration

The International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) is a course based on adult learning principles, accredited by the University of Toronto’s Continuing Education & Professional Development office (CEPD). The course consists of two Educational Weekends, held nine-months apart. There are nine self-study Modules and a Selective.

This comprehensive interprofessional educational experience for wound care specialists translates new evidence-based knowledge into practice. International key opinion leaders present the course curriculum and target the content towards health care professionals.


You must have a health professional degree (physicians, nurses or other health professional degree) or five years of relevant industry experience.

Registration for IIWCC-CAN 2022-2023 is now open. The course is nine months long. Sessions are held in English and scheduled based on the EST/EDT time zone.

First Educational Weekend (Fall): September 29-30 & Oct 1, 2022 (Virtual)

Second Educational Weekend: June 8-10 2023 (Virtual with possible blended live [Toronto] option)

Note: For 2022-2023 the IIWCC faculty and the University of Toronto will hold the residential weekends online due to COVID-19 and all IIWCC sessions will be held online using Zoom.

The IIWCC-CAN is accredited by the Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development at the University of Toronto.
